The step-by-step guide below will show you how to request insurance documents from your subcontractors.
- Navigate to the COI module.
- Make sure you are in the Certificates tab first. Then click on “Request COIs” on the right.
- Fill in the information in the box that appears.

After selecting a project and company, the below boxes will be checked automatically. These are the most common policies to request, but they are customizable to best suit your needs.
- You can also upload a file in the Counterpart's requirements section that will function as a sample document. This can work as a guide for the kind of insurance document you are expecting.
- When you are finished, click “Send requests”. You will be taken back to the Certificates screen and the request will now appear in “Required” status.
